Page 6 of 6 DoubtDoubt is a rational feeling and the most predictable of all human feelings and of course you should have doubt's about this. You should have in mind that as an example one relate it to the ‘holy works’ of Buddhism, the Tripitaka, that was passed on by oral tradition for over 400 years before it finally was written down. Imagine how much of the original understanding that was lost and changed during the this time.
*** STEP 1 - Consensus - "The understanding transferred from elders to youngsters and when understood makes them a Man of the civilized world. This first time definition of Man, no matter what the contents of the understanding were, would thereby be referred to as the Dawn of Man - were Man became what we in modern words describe as civilized and there by was clearly distinguished from the uncivilized animals."
NOTE: You have now gone thru and learnt the first step to understand the true God. However, knowledge and understanding is two strictly different things. Understanding is per definition what remains after you forgotten what you learnt. Reading the above does NOT directly make you understand. To understand the above you have to take it in and relate the knowledge with your own present understanding. This is easily done by trying to figure out answer to your own maybe unanswered questions using the new knowledge. After a while you begin to understand and at the same time you will begin to forget what actually is written on this page. This is the true pattern of understanding. |
